Ginger Darty, NP, is an experienced nurse practitioner at Wellness Care Clinic, LLC, providing high-quality primary care to people four and older in Cahokia, Illinois. Ginger accepts most health insurance plans and welcomes new patients to the practice.

Ginger has more than 20 years of experience working in healthcare. She studied at Walden University in Minneapolis, Minnesota, earning her master’s degree as a nurse practitioner. Ginger is currently enrolled at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona, studying for a doctorate — the highest level of education a nurse practitioner can receive.

Before owning and operating her practice, Ginger served as a nurse practitioner at several clinics. At each career stop, she provided complete healthcare to individuals, families, and veterans. 

At Wellness Care Clinic, LLC, Ginger provides primary care services and has a special interest in weight loss medicine. She regularly works with people who want to achieve a healthier weight and uses a combination of lifestyle changes, nutrition counseling, and prescription medication to help them effectively shed pounds. 

Ginger has a compassionate bedside manner and loves helping people achieve their health and wellness goals. This commitment extends to those struggling with addiction, as she regularly prescribes Suboxone® treatment.

Ginger never rushes appointments and makes time to understand each patient’s symptoms and concerns. After gathering the necessary information, she develops personalized treatment plans that promote health and wellness.

Outside of work, Ginger is active in the community. She’s a first-aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) instructor and serves as an usher at her church. At home, Ginger enjoys doing arts and crafts.
